Dungeon Masters Guide by Gary Gygax

This is the finest guide to running an RPG ever written. Nothing since even compares, regardless of the game. It's so good that, when other games are lacking, this is the reference that becomes the default. In the end, all rules must be converted to 1st Edition AD&D rules. Highly recommended!
