DNF at 50% on the dot. I just can't anymore with this book.
I don't like Nikki, I think she needs to get some professional help for herself. Aside from that, I found it jarring to go back and forth from Nikki's first person perspective to the detective's third person perspective. And apart from those things, I found that this was more of a windy-for-the-sake-of-winding story rather than an intricately weaved tale. So I'm done. I planned to finish or at least skim through the end to see who did it, but thankfully someone included that in their review so I can walk away from this book happily.
