I still have a lot of questions..
It was an interesting read, and I did get very invested in some parts. I do think it was pretty good at times, however I just felt like I didn't get into it, it did not evoke any lasting emotions in me and I don't remember anything specific after finishing the book.
It was an extremely character driven book. I think it almost read more like an anthology series about the residents of this apartment complex. And, I was honestly very invested in some of the characters and couldn't care less for others. Overall, it did a good job addressing themes of classism but it seemed like possibly some of the impact of the conclusions may have been lost in translation? In the end it just didn't hit very hard for me hence the rating. I am a big fan of dystopias, but this just sadly didn’t do it for me. The last two pages were so so good, but not worth the entire book. The writing and resolution are not good enough to justify the jumping around and the disconnect in the character stories...
