I'm glad the story resolved itself. It was okay. I always find lack of communication and blatant miscommunication more than mildly irritating when it's the main conflict of a story. I did like that both characters had to figure out how to stand on their own away from the supporting roles in their lives to really understand and get a food picture of what they needed to do to make things work.
