I hated it. The whole book is the author saying that women’s only purpose is to be baby factories. Every POV was either a mother or pregnant woman and heavily laid on the ‘if you’re a childless woman you have no worth’ shit and i just couldn’t handle it.
I was intrigued by the premise of the book and even more interested because i heard that this was written BEFORE the start of 2020 coronavirus and i wanted to see what parallels there were. I was into the science and healthcare side. But as soon as she piled took a swerve into the ‘woman HAVE to get pregnant to repopulate, you’re not a proper woman unless you’re a mother’ rhetoric i wanted to puke. I don’t even know why i finished this book. I guess it became a hate read toward the end.
