The Skin Gods by Richard Montanari

4.0

The Skin Gods is a fast-paced, atmospheric thriller that captures the city of Philadelphia and the terror that follows a serial killer. The Actor is recreating famous movie death scenes in real life, then splicing them into copies of the movies. Who is he--why does he do it--why these victims? These are the questions facing Detectives Balzano and Byrne of Philly PD Homicide. Finding the answers takes them to places they never expected. This is the second in a series, and now I'm definitely going to pick up the first. Montanari has written a well-paced, character rich story that grabs you from the first page.
