This has some creepy elements and establishes a good set up: a woman isolated on a mountain with an abusive husband and there is a creature hunting them but it very quickly became repetitive and predicable. From a narrative perspective, the abuse and weak helpless ess of the main character was over the top from the start and that left it no where to go.
