What a wonderful start to a new series that features a forever kind of love.

THOUGHTS ๐Ÿ’ญ
๐Ÿ’Ÿ As I was reading this story, I was reminded of Sweet Home Alabama! Country girl turned city girl returns to her small town to get her husband to sign divorce papers so she can marry another man.
๐Ÿ’Ÿ โ€œItโ€™s always been youโ€ has never applied more aptly to a book; Maisie is Warrenโ€™s past, present, and (hopefully) future and heโ€™s never wanted anyone else. Itโ€™s a sweet, slightly obsessed kind of love.
๐Ÿ’Ÿ Warren gives himself only 7 days to convince Maisie that she belongs with him; I loved the sweet, thoughtful ways he used to lure her back to him (despite her having a fiancรฉ back in NYC).
๐Ÿ’Ÿ The entire family is invested in getting Maisie to fall back in love with Warren; it was fun getting to know all of them and I can tell this is going to be a series where family/found family is important.
๐Ÿ’Ÿ The chemistry between these two is absolute ๐Ÿ”ฅ.
๐Ÿ’Ÿ The artwork scattered throughout this book is everything. I loved seeing the scenes I just read in illustrated form.

Thanks so much to Brooke Montgomery for the ARC of this book!
