What a fun read. This is the definition of a cozy fantasy. I now want to play a whole D&D campaign where the characters are all retired adventures and they all try to live in a city together attempting to be normal but get into shenanigans. One thing I thought was overplayed was the inventing or discovering new and modern things, otherwise it was a solid read, and I would recommend it to anyone.
