Scarlett by Cassie Lein, Alisha Williams, Alisha Williams
5.0

Scarlett has been abused for 11 years by her uncle guardian, Tobin Caputo. He made a promise that she could go to college but reneged on that promise and betrothed her to Emerson Rossi, future don of the Rossi Mafia. Emerson, however, is bisexual and is in love with his best friend Allistar. They were hoping to find their third, a woman, and live happily ever after. Now that dream is dead because of this arranged marriage. All three end up at Club Ecstasy, a BDSM club, for the Wicked Temptation Key Party. Scarlett wants to lose her virginity to someone of her choosing. Allistar and Emerson want to share a woman for the night and knock a few items off their kink list. Allistar and Emerson spend an unforgettable night with their Little Star/Cupcake unaware that Scarlett is the woman that was betrothed to Emerson. This is the beginning of their beautiful relationship, as they soon learn the truth about the marriage. They are perfect as a throuple, and the chemistry between them is off the charts.

This book was a sweet and spicy mafia-lite story that was well-written, with a believable plot, well developed characters, and excellent world building. The story had me mesmerized until the end. I loved Scarlett’s character. She had a wonderful life with her parents and then was forced to survive 11 years of misery with her uncle. Just when she thought life would be good again when she got away from her uncle, her uncle tries to throw more misery at her. But no, Scarlett found her backbone and took matters into her own hands as far as her virginity is concerned. Good for her! She was a strong female character after all. I also appreciated the warm and loving relationship that the guys shared, and that they were able to let another share their love. I seriously loved this book and highly recommend it.
