I honestly expected more. I went into this books expecting to feel so much and even be a little emotinally wrecked, but alas, I barely felt anything. Maybe its me, maybe it was the book. Either way. It was a chore to complete this one. Some of the emotional plot points felt forced, like their only purpose was to elicit a reaction from the reader. The romance just kinda happened, and then it turned into sex for the rest of the book, with little connection / development of the interpersonal relationship between the two MMCs. Their was also a random third act 'break-up' that was a bit annoying.

Hopefully this will be a better read for others than it was for me.
