Challenge by Amy Daws

4.0

4 Tequila Sunrise stars!

I was first introduced to Camden & Indie while reading [b:Cocktales|40103988|Cocktales|Penny Reid|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1526442587s/40103988.jpg|62167466] and really wanted to hear their story. This was my first novel by Amy Daws and it won’t be my last.

Challenge is part crass, part hilarious, and a whole lot steamy!

I like Indie, she was a prodigious child and is one of the youngest doctors at the hospital. She’s lived a life of solitude until she reached college, so the little idiosyncrasies she has about enjoying being alone are endearing, but we all know that deep down she wants to belong to someone.
SpoilerHer whole plan of finding “Pen*s Number One, Two and Three” was flawed right from the beginning. The only thing I had a hard time with Indie was she was so willing to throw away her whole career for a one night stand. Even though Indie and Camden’s first kiss in the emergency room seemed a bit ridiculous it just went to show the instant attraction between these two .

Camden is the typical European football star, with a big ego to match his skills.
SpoilerThe first time we meet Camden he is enacting his usual ritual before a big game and let me tell you it is quite the scene! I’ve never imagined someone getting off on playing a game before, but there it is. I found it so sweet that after his first encounter with Indie he knew that her one night stand condition was not going to enough for him. .

I loved the push and pull between these two MCs. The sexual chemistry was so tangible. Their banter was great and I absolutely loved all of their clever puns.

This was a fun, light, easy read. I definitely want to read more about the Harris brothers and their HEAs!
