Dark Gold by Christine Feehan

This is the end of the Dark series for me personally. When I fist read Dark Prince I found it a middle of the road book. I did enjoy certain aspects of the book, I did have fundemental problems with the novel. I found the males controlling and the woman had no agency. Plus there also the questionable consent. After reading the 2nd and 3rd novel in the series my questionable issues have been added to by anoyancies that have ruined the series. I can't stand that every characters male of female is a carbon copy of the first set in Dark Prince. And then you have the same lines to describe everything like "dark velvet magic". Then this couple had to be the most frustrating outta the three I've read, because you had a female who was so frustrating and stuborn and unwilling to even see logic when she had the profe for herself. And a male who couldn't be more stupid, chest thumping male ego. And there was no respect for her saying no to sex and he turned everything into a reason to sex. Esspecially emotionally trematic events. And it made me role my eyes and get sick of this book and series as a whole. I'm done with this series, and only read this far wanting to get to Gregori story and I can't be bothered now.
