For a Lifetime by Gabrielle Meyer
4.5
adventurous challenging emotional hopeful informative mysterious sad medium-paced

Ah! It’s the third installment of the Timeless series! I was looking forward to this. The time crossing storylines are addictive. So where are we going in history this time? To 1692 Salem, Massachusetts and 1912 New York City.

The author gave us a bit of a twist this time with a duo of twin sisters who are time crossers. So we have two main characters living out two different time periods simultaneously, and each sister had a POV in the book. I liked the concept when I began reading, but I honestly got a little confused reading it at times. (It could’ve just been my brain fog. 🙄)

I was not deterred, though, because I needed to know these events in order to read the next book. I have also learned to trust this author and keep reading because she’s going to start throwing in jaw-dropping moments that are worth the read. And she didn’t disappoint! I was caught off guard, audibly gasped and said, “Noooo!” And just about the time I thought I had grasped time-crossing, there was more to discover.

You will enjoy this book if you’re interested in…
