I really, really wanted to enjoy this book. Murtagh was my favorite character in The Inheritance Cycle and that series was a favorite for a VERY long time, until recently. I used to read it every year. But this book... it just dragged for me. I never got sucked in. I was just disappointed. 

I will try again at some point... I'll do a re-read with the whole Inheritance Cycle to see if that changes my mind...
