Without a Map
by Meredith Hall
This was one of the most beautiful and haunting memoirs I've read in a long time. It's non-linear and it works. Although I did wish there was more about her international travel and how she returned home, and there are a couple of little moments that seem dropped in and out of place. But overall this is an exquisite book.
