This took me forever to read, not because it was slow or bad in anyway but because it was one of those books I had to be in the right mind to read and needed to have full attention for it not to miss a single detail! I loved the characters, the plot, the syndicates, how worlds collided to show Lu the truth of the island. Plus my copy of the book has green splayed edges and is signed “make waves” by the author which is just a huge bonus
