3.5 stars. I didn’t feel as connected to this one as I expected to, especially because I feel like I’ve been waiting forever for the next installment! I generally liked Megan and Elliot but the back-and-forth and arguing annoyed me more than usual. Like many of the books in the series, the couple realizes that they love each other very quickly and then proceed to ignore it for most of the book. One of the main reasons I love these stories is because of the charming town that its set in. Her other series is set in Hope’s Crossing, but this one spent a lot of time there too. I don’t mind that, but I definitely missed the Helping Hands and other characters. Maybe there just weren’t enough cameos for me? I have to say though, I am incredibly intrigued about where the series will go from here, based on who the next book is about!
