This book was so so good!!
Auntie Bev never ever disappoints and is the Queen of historical romance to say the least. I was immediately invested from page 1. Drake and Valinda’s love is the kind of love you dream of. It’s so beautiful and full of passion. The only person who got on my last nerve in this book was Valinda’s father. He was a straight co*k blocker 🤬🤬🤬🤬. Just didn’t know how to be embrace and support his daughter’s happiness!! Other than that, I want to marry Drake!!! 🫣🫣🫣Valinda’s intended—Cole… he was another story nonetheless, he played a crucial part in this beautiful love story.
