I usually am very pro second book in a series in my opinion they’re usually better then the first. Unfortunately I enjoyed the first book way more, but I still enjoyed this one. The story felt a little slow in parts and rushed in others making the pacing a little off. After reading the first book my expectations were set so high I was just expecting more. It was extremely lacking in the emotion, the back and forth that made book one such a good romance, book two was kind of only peripherally a romance. I would have even liked a book three, or at least a longer second book so the story could have been better played out.
