““Oh. I’m sorry. That would make you a very pitiful saboteur who carries a knife for nonviolent purposes.”” (Cruel Beauty, page 183)

I really liked Cruel Beauty. I think that it was an interesting way to retell Beauty and the Beast. I also liked that there was some Greek mythology in Cruel Beauty because I really love ancient mythology.

I didn’t want to stop reading Cruel Beauty. It had me hooked pretty early on. I loved that the characters were full of emotion and felt genuinely human. Cruel Beauty was not only full of emotion, but it made me feel emotional. It shocked me and made me laugh and I didn’t want it to end.

I give Cruel Beauty 5 stars. It kept me on the edge of my seat and was a perfect blend of Beauty and the Beast and Greek mythology.
