This book was so frustrating. It would been a 2-star if it wasn't for the other character's pov because I was annoyed by Tessa. Because she was so underdeveloped and she didn't have many bad traits. And because of it, she couldn't carry this book alone. Because in this book there was nothing. No preparation just characters ruining around most of the time And when there was preparation the ending was solved so quickly. Tessa didn't have flaws really because her only flaw was that she couldn't choose between the boys. And she keeps getting into trouble. It would have been much easier if they would have trained here after the second book. What the H*LL did she do besides preparing for the wedding? I couldn't tell you because I don't know. She didn't train so I was like what the f*ck? You were so many in near-death experiences that you still don't learn to fight?  I get she wouldn't be the best fighter in so little time. But it's like come on girl. And her flaw was easily solved by the situation. After the first book, I knew how the "villain" was going to be defeated. It was weird.

I thought the songs were going to tie to the story in the end. And they weren't so I was like just why. Charlotte was said to be a great leader but we didn't see a lot of examples of that.  I feel like she was more like a mother than a leader.  And most of these problems were under the rug because I was enjoying the missions and preparing for the mission in the first two books. And without it beside in the beginning and at the end in this book. It was boring. The main characters from me just in this book are very boring. Because they were such positive characters, especially Jem and Tessa there wasn't much character growth because they were already at such a high point of likeable that I feel there was nothing is going with them going on as characters. They were just nice and their only problems were getting solved. Not because of them just because of the situation in the end. Some side more unlikeable characters got more character growth in this book and the story was much more entertaining when they were the focus of the story. But overall it's a 3 star but it's a very generous 3 star because I was very frustrated with the story that I read it in like two weeks. When in the first book I read in one day more than 200 pages from it. And there could have been more focus on Jem and his relationship with his conditions. And I just wanted a pov from him because I would like to know how he felt but we didn't get that so I was again disappointed because of that. And don't get me started about Will and Tessa's night with each other after Jem's death.
