I’m not confident in my rating of this so take it with a grain of salt. This book is so impressive and it has important things to say. I really love that the author included footnotes of real facts and figures that are happening in the American justice system right now that parallel what is happening in the book. My only ‘complaints’ are that maybe there were too many perspectives and I started to have trouble keeping all the characters and perspectives straight.
