Book 3 Joe Talbot series

I had the audiobook read by David Colacci, Amy McFadden and R.C.Bray I feel the voice for Max felt too old.

Detective Max Rupert and attorney Boady Sanderson’s friendship is strained when one man is in the middle of them. That man is Ben whose wife was killed. Max is convinced Ben killed his wife, Broady is convinced that he is innocent, and defends him in court.

I like that I’m getting to know more about the different characters. We are given a quick up date on the absent Joe. We get both men’s pov throughout.
It’s not a complex plot but it has some good little twists.
I found it easy listening and entertaining.
Off to catch up with book 4 before it’s pulled from the plus catalogue.
