Wings of Ink by Angelina J. Steffort

5.0

Oh. My. Gosh. There’s a reason Angelina J. Steffort is one of my favorite authors, and “Wings of Ink” was just another fantastic example of why that is!

I really love Steffort’s writing style, because she always manages to captivate me with her unique worlds and complex characters.

In my opinion, “Wings of Ink” was complete and utter perfection. Myron and Wolayna’s story was everything I didn’t know I needed, and I absolutely adored the Beauty and the Beast vibes as well!

We’ve got some of my favorite fantasy romance tropes here: arranged marriage, enemies to lovers, forced proximity, only one bed, touch her and die, etc.

Myron and Ayna were both likable characters, and I enjoyed how their relationship developed over the course of the novel. I loved Myron because he definitely gives off tortured morally grey character vibes, and I loved Ayna’s fire and sass.

As for that ending… I literally wanted to riot. I’m dying to know what happens next, and I have no idea how I’m going to manage to wait to find out! If you love a good fantasy romance, I think “Wings of Ink” might be the book for you!
