I know this book (and George Orwell books in general) has a lot of politics meaning behind of their story, but damn, he can write perfectly about how he feels about something that could perfectly happen in real life (and there are actual things that happened though) and transmit you SO WELL the situations the main character of this books passed through. It makes you think if you could ever do that if you were in his situation, if you could also lose your mind. He makes you keep thinking about if the options he chooses to keep himself safe are morally correct or not… This book is amazing!

The only thing I never bear about when I read this book is when Winston start reading that damn book. Like, yeah I understand what you try to put that whole text but that part is really boring and insufferable. Maybe my little brain can’t handle that. But yeah, I think it’s the only bad thing I can say about this book. Overall I think is one of my favourite classics so far.
