I think I preferred swordheart to this book, a bit of the miscommunication was annoying. However I loved the two leads having realistic insecurities. And I loved

how they both respected privacy in their relationship and knew there were times they’d want to be alone. Okay with being separate sometimes but knowing they were a couple still.

I could totally see myself returning to this series. T. Kingfisher has proven to be an author I will read when I’m in a slump!
