Fallen Rebel, the first book in the When Watchers Fall series by @cgblaine was such an incredible book. I absolutely loved it. It had such a cool story line, something I have never read before.
This book gave me so many supernatural/vampire diaries vibes, it's crazy! And might I add, those are two of my favorite shows!
@cgblaine did such a great job with this. I love the forbidden romance aspect to this, but also, it kinda felt like a slight enemies to lovers romance too. I love that this book wasn't your typical boy meets girl, girl falls for boy, happily ever after romance. I love that she had the characters fighting to stay away from each other, and you could see the inner torment throughout.
Obviously this was a supernatural romance, but it was also sort of a mystery too. I loved the dark aspects of this with demons and betrayal. This book also had a great message of selfless-ness.
Ultimately, I give this book a 5/5 stars because I loved it, and couldn't put it down. Now, this being my first book in this genre, I can honestly tell you, I'm hooked. I can't wait to read the second book about Cass's brother Chaz. And many more books like these.
