A Gentleman in Moscow
by Amor Towles
I wanted to absolutely love this one, but there were just too many characters / asides to keep straight for it to be a 5 star read for me. Towles is a great writer and I've read Lincoln Highway already, so I'm glad I went back and read this one. I thought he did a great job "teaching" about the Russian revolution and making the history accessible. I almost wish I had read this during a quieter time in my life so I could've savored the pages more and not gotten as distracted or confused, but I only accept part of the fault on that one! Overall, I liked this one a lot and may even watch the miniseries when it comes out!
