I really liked this. I loved the writing and how complex the two lead characters were. This would have been five stars if not for the big thing being kinda boring as far as book twists go. There was also one character that got involved in illegal activities just because someone cried. Them picking a side and committing perjury just from a few tears felt weak. Overall I really enjoyed this book. I enjoyed the dynamics and found all the characters well written, other than that one little thing. I will definitely be reading more from Samantha Downing.
