How to Date Men When You Hate Men
by Blythe Roberson
Fab title, love the premise but it does not deliver any thoughtful exploration about power and relationships and dealing with patriarchy. 30% of this is just Roberson quoting other writers, TV shows, books etc.
It's more like a series of diary entries that focus on specific inspiration rather than a cohesive story about dating - it jumps all over the place and never really makes a point. It's occasionally funny, but mostly really repetitive. Super curious how the publishing process works when you get product like this.
