It started off so well and I struggled to put it down. I love Nate and Stas's chemistry together and the frenemies to lovers, they had me absolutely rooting for them. They had the best friend group between Lo and Robbie and the rest of the team mates built an amazing found family together and offered much needed comic relief throughout the read. I lived for the Puckbunnies group chat and the absolute Roastings they give Nate. Nates is a protector and a very lovable mmc, it was so wholesome to read looking out for his girl and opening up her eyes to the Toxic behaviour of her skate partner....
As a whole it was sweet, fun, sexy but also Toxic AF, Arron is a character to hate and it annoyed me that it took 75% of the read for the FMC to realise it. The first half of the book was great I couldn't put it down but then the pacing severely dipped there wasn't much happening on the ice (plot point I guess) but I found myself getting severely bored with how it dragged on, the whole book could have been 130pages shorter and I would have enjoyed it more. I usually love an epilogue especially when it's set years down the line but by the time I got there I was so bored by the dragging plot I skimmed read it just to get the jist of it. I don't know why but I was expecting to see more of Nate doing ice skating through the whole book
