Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

4.0

"It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife"

Some women want to marry for money, some women want to marry for social status, and some women want to marry for love.

A perfect study of society, social class and relationships has been brought into the picture by this beautiful book. I must say I am seriously pretty impressed and finally understand the "Jane Austen" hype. Count me in on the "Jane Austen Queen" hype train!

The characters, their personalities, the premise, the dialogues and every minute detail in the book are immaculately put forth. I was super impressed by the character development arc of not just the main characters but the lesser important ones as well.

The right amount of drama, romance and satire makes it one of the best classics of all time.
