This is a re-read for me, I listened to the audiobook several years ago and this time I read the ebook. Overall great book (not as good as book 2 in my opinion) but close. It's a great setup, great world building - It's so easy to see and visualize. It's definitely a Beauty and the Beast type of retelling but even going in knowing that, I think she still did a great job of keeping the storyline fresh & unique.
