I found this book utterly charming. It was a refreshing take on the grumpy/sunshine trope, and I appreciate the added intrigue of the whodunit mystery.
If you’re looking for spice or significant romance, this is not for you, but if you like a love story with characters focused on other things, this is a great choice.
While I found the writing to be good overall and genuinely funny throughout, there were times I felt the plot was moving a little too quickly, making the story seem choppy at times.
Overall, this was a great intro to the series and I plan to read the following books.
