A poetic narrative that traces a woman’s relationship with another woman and its impacts (from leaving her long term boyfriend to examining her identity). I liked the collection of themes (literature, narratives, the nature of love, sexual identity) and also how the narrative avoids lingering too long in the details of our narrator’s relationships. Though I was satisfied with the overall work, the ending is rather abrupt in the fact it ends quickly rather than feels abrupt. We also get equal reflections on both of her relationships, so I would hesitate to describe this as a love story between two women, more of a coming of age or a reflection on love.
