As with all books by this author, I enjoyed this a lot but was constantly distracted by all the characters speaking like the most British people to ever British despite the book literally being set in my Los Angeles neighborhood. This is a very easy fix! I can’t fathom how no American editor ever seems to do a British slang pass! Americans do not use “fancy” as a verb!
