The Sailor Who Fell from Grace with the Sea
by Yukio Mishima
Mishima never disappoints. I loved his musings about the sea, and his explorations of youth, and the innocence that is so often ascribed to it, when in reality youth is often a pit of viciousness with only the Veneer of innocence, and the exploration of that theme was incredibly potent. Excited to continue my read through of his work.
