I have mixed feelings about Too Sweet, which is Nico & Mia’s story. Yes, there is angst, but some situations that happen to the FMC seem over the top or unbelievable in how Mia and others react. Too Sweet was not my favourite book from the series. Nico had moments where I loved this protective nature, but when he said about her not mentioning or talking about college because it reminded him of the 10-year age gap, he lost some of his character in my eyes. I am giving Too Sweet a rating of 3 / 5 stars; I suggest checking the trigger warnings for those sensitive to topics.
