This latest book in the Armand Gamache series started in Three Pines, where it was soothing, tranquil, and relaxing. However, it quickly turned into a terrifying domestic terrorism plot. Even after finishing it, I felt my adrenaline racing. It was interesting to see how the author wove so many characters and plots from previous books into this storyline. I can't wait until next year's "The Black Wolf."
