this was just so bad. the idea and marketing  was so cool, even the love triangle was an interesting concept it was just executed terribly. the idea is that the mmc (Ryder) falls in love with the reader, but literally as soon you open the book hes confessing how much he loves you?? just the way he talks to you is so cringey and gross. he refers to himself as a “protective beast” if that doesn’t tell you enough. on top of that hes always telling you how you feel which is super uncomfortable when youre def not feeling that away. ex. he basically tells you that your jealous that hrs hooking up with someone but like… no? honestly Ryders entire character was just gross.  i didnt mind his relationship with Luna and i kinda liked her. i kinda liked when she talked to the reader because she wasnt forcing emotions onto you. the ending made no sense. theres no big conclusion

like basically it was all for nothing. so stupid
