Sophie and the gang were so close this time to having the Baron arrested, only for him to slip away once again. I hope that the next time they see the Baron, he is finally apprehended and Sophie can get some closure regarding his involvement with her parents. I’m also interested in what Lily’s brother, Jack, would think of Joe dating his sister—if and when Joe gets the courage to tell her how he feels—and whether her brother would accept that Joe has left his old life behind.

I think this book handled the disability of one of the characters amazingly well. Just when the character, Leo, feels as if she’s not being very useful at the end of the story—because she has to use a cane or walking stick to help her get around, which limits her ability to do many of the things the others can easily do—she ends up being the one who actually traps Mr. Lye, preventing him from escaping the police. In my mind, that was very brave of her.
