Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid
5.0
I wanna cry. At first going into this book, I wasn't really sure how to feel. I thought it was entertaining, but it didn't pull me in any particular way. Then of course I got farther in, we're getting to know each character and then I finished and I didn't realize how invested I was until I was crying while cleaning the toilet (it's a chore day). Billy annoyed me, then he didn't. Then he did, and then I loved him. I couldn't stand Eddie, then I could, but it wasnt until the very end. I liked Warren cause I mean he just kinda popped up told the drama and moved on. It made me laugh. I loved Karen and Camila through the whole thing. Seriously my favorites. Plus Karen's voice actress was amazing. I loved her voice, and Camila's death had me crying in the club. Pete...how do I describe him? He literally wasn't there. I mean good for you man for owning a turf company I guess? Daisy Jones....god, I loved her, then I hated her. Then I felt for her, then I disliked her, and then I was crying as she made her way out of her own hell. I mean...whats not to love? Julia writing the whole book was the cherry on top for me. I love this book. It's so good! I wouldn't pick it up again though just cause it was emotionally exhausting and I dont particularly like putting myself through that. Anyway, its amazing, I'm so happy I listened to it. The honeycomb track at the end made my day, though I really wish they found singers who could have made it that much better, I'll take what I can get though.
