Death for Dinner Cookbook - 60 Gorey-Good, Plant-Based Drinks, Meals, and Munchies Inspired by Your Favorite Horror Films by Zach Neil

4.0

Y’ALL WHO WANTS TO HAVE A SPOOKY DINNER PARTY?!

I love the idea of this old school horror themed cookbook, and just in time for Halloween season, too! The names of each dish, their annotated inspirations, accompanying photos, and staging suggestions have me simultaneously cracking up and scared LOL.

None of these healthy, plant-based recipes are overly complicated or require ingredients that would be difficult to find at any grocery store, if you don’t already have most of it at home. However, some of the recipes do require some kitchen equipment folks may not have (instant pots, etc.) and the recipes don’t provide for alt cooking methods.

Definitely saving the cauliflower wings, “the Hills Have Fries”, herbed bread, and peanut butter popcorn recipes to make soon, just to name a few!

Thank you to NetGalley, Rock Point, and Zach for an advance reader’s copy of this title in exchange for an honest review!
