I enjoyed the audiobook quite a bit, was not super memorable and a little awkward/weird not in the ooh the characters are a bit awkward together way the writing just wasn't my favorite. That being said, the story was a really interesting idea and I enjoyed the concept alot! It was different from anything else I have read, and it talked about how complicated grief can be in a very real way that I appreciated. I also feel like I learned alot from the MRCA gene topic, the character's coming to terms with her new body, life, and relationships after going through it. The MMC was so lovey and understanding and loved her exactly as is. The connection the characters had was great, and I liked how it slowly showed them becoming friends and the relationship bond. I didn't love the "I was mean to you cause I thought you were pretty" thing but its ok! All around a good book!
