WHAT A GOD DAMN HOT MESS PEOPLE!
No... really. It was a complete hot mess and I have no idea how I can write this review. I hope it doesn't suck but it just might.
Miss Mayhem still follows a bunch of hot messes. There's romance, a stupid triangle, death, and some other mystery stuff happening. It was kind of hard to keep track of everything that was happening. Pretty sure I wanted to bang my head against my desk, laptop, hand, wall, door, window, a freaking pole... LITERALLY ANYTHING, while I was reading this book.
I still don't like the accents and THANK YOU SWEET BABY JESUS because I decided not to go with the audio this time. HOWEVER, I still had their god awful accents stuck in my damn brain and made me cringe throughout the whole book.
Other than that, I guess I can sort of think Harper and David were kind of cute in a super cringy way. I didn't hate them but again I just didn't care about the romance in this book. I don't know what it is but yeah can everyone stop trying to find love and just be friends forever?!?
Besides all of that, I did get confused throughout some parts. I didn't like the ending at all. I don't care that people want to be normal all of sudden. David shouldn't have left. I was screaming at this book. EVEN though I was confused for like a third of this book I still can't accept that kind of ending.
God damn, I hope that the third book can redeem this one.
Overall, it was okay. Not my favorite. I was intrigued enough (by wine) to finish this book. I'm happy it's over and I can move on with my life. Now I need to read the next one and free myself forever!
