I?m a sucker for good world building and this story ticks all the boxes. I love the tension between Beast and Mera and I appreciate the slow burn of it. I will say, Mera?s personality was a bit grating in the beginning but I loved her strength and the sex positivity/body positivity messages of her loving her body. I?d 100% give up my current life to live in that library.
