From Here to Eternity: Traveling the World to Find the Good Death by Caitlin Doughty

4.0

Caitlin Doughty is trying to change America's death industry, arguing that our distance from the whole process doesn't allow us to accept or grieve the loss. In this book, she does this by writing about death practices in places around the world, showing that our way is not the only way (and that what might seem macabre is potentially healing).

I will read anything she writes. I'm on board for her central argument, her humor, and her writing style,. This was a world tour of an issue I don't think much about, but find fascinating once we get started.
