Midnight in Death by J.D. Robb
4.0

Another case solved by the feisty detective and her team.

This time the identity of the killer is known, since he is someone Eve helped put behind bars who managed to escape and now has a grudge against her. It took her a long time to follow the thread that ultimately lead to him and I felt a bit impatient with her since it's one of the first things I thought of, but she did a great job as usual.

I still love Roarke in all his unrealistic glory, as well as Peabody and her sly humor.

Looking forward to listening to the next book in the series, [b:Conspiracy in Death|172691|Conspiracy in Death (In Death, #8)|J.D. Robb|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1305124508l/172691._SY75_.jpg|3093655].
