This book started out incredibly. I loved putting the pieces together of what the characters’ relationships were to each other. I also liked that the MCs each had some flaws that made them more realistic. The journey to learning Paul’s true character was also great, I liked how at times he appeared to be more nuanced version evil than just straight sociopath. The twist where he was alive really got me You will need to suspend disbelief to a very great degree, which is why this book wasn’t rated higher. There were definitely parts that dragged. Additionally, Paul’s death was very unsatisfying for me.
